What is the Carnegie Action System?

The Carnegie Action System (CAS) is an online reinforcement program to the 12-week Dale Carnegie Course that's delivered directly to your desktop. The CAS is also an introduction to the Dale Carnegie human relation principles. (Subscription lasts for one year and is renewable each year.)

How is the CAS unique?

• Delivery. There is a one-time installation from the Web to your computer, where the CAS will be housed and accessed at any time as long as you are online. No future installations, passwords or access steps!
• Scheduling. The software has a scheduling feature that allows you to program the time of day you want to take a lesson. Once scheduled, the CAS will automatically open every day at that time.
• Flexibility. The lessons automatically come in a sequence that reinforces the course; however, you can decide what to focus on and have the ability to skip around and meet your immediate needs.
• Reinforcement. Each lesson is based on a Dale Carnegie principle. Action steps are recommended for application to help you achieve your desired goals. Further online reinforcements include inspirational examples, progress checks for self-evaluation, a daily journal and links to related areas.
• Self-paced. The CAS allows you to manage your time through its scheduling feature, self-select lesson capacity, and the ability to decide how much time to spend on each lesson.
• Action. The CAS helps you take action toward achieving your breakthroughs and applying the Dale Carnegie principles.

What is the Leadership Action System?

The Leadership Action System (LAS) is an online reference program to the 7-week Leadership Training for Managers®™ Course that's delivered directly to your desktop or retrievable from the Web. (Subscription lasts for one year and is renewable each year.)

How is the LAS unique?

• Delivery. There is a one-time installation from the Web to your computer, where the LAS will be housed and accessed at any time as long as you are online. No future installations, passwords or access steps!
• Scheduling. The software has a scheduling feature that allows you to program the time of day you want to take a lesson. Once scheduled, the LAS will automatically open at that time.

• Reinforcement. Each lesson is based on a leadership principle. We recommend you complete the action steps to apply what you learned. • Self-paced. The LAS allows you to manage your time through its scheduling feature, self-select lesson capacity, and the ability to decide how much time to spend on each lesson.
• Action. The LAS helps you take action toward achieving effective leadership at work.

What benefits will I receive from the CAS and LAS?

Is it the same as my Dale Carnegie Course® or LTM Course?

No. The action systems are online reinforcement programs for the Dale Carnegie programs with additional, original content not found in the courses.

How long do I have to use the product?

Your CAS or LAS subscription lasts for one year from the date of registration. (You have up to 90 days to register after you purchase.)

How many lessons are there?

There are 60 lessons in the CAS and 36 lessons in the LAS.

How long will it take me to go through a lesson?

It generally takes 10 to15 minutes to thoroughly absorb a lesson; however you can spend as much or as little time as you desire. The action steps you are encouraged to take each day are meant to be a seamless part of you daily life.

Once I buy the product, how soon will I get it?

Once the purchase process is completed, you will be directed to a web page that will walk you through the download and installation of your action system.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

When I submit a story where does it go? Who reads it? Will I be notified if Dale Carnegie publishes it?

Is my Journal private or can anyone access it?

Your journal is strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to outsiders.

Do I have to take a test after I finish the lesson?

You are given the opportunity to test your understanding of the lesson in the Life Solutions and Business Solutions sections, which simulate real-life scenarios in which you might apply what you learned at Dale Carnegie Training. Every response (right or wrong) has been designed to reinforce the lesson. Even "wrong" answers can help you achieve breakthroughs.

Will my instructor know how I answer the questions?
